Notice – Future of the Parish Rooms

Waldridge Parish Council are currently exploring options regarding the parish rooms at

1 Poplar Street, Waldridge Village, DH2 2SE

All information currently available is below.

(Please note since the presentation at the parish meeting on 14th July 2026 we have lost the main hirer of the rooms, the fitness group, due to issues with parking. Regular hirers are now the Singing Group 2 hours per month & the Scouts 2 hours per quarter – this would equate to annual income of around £320)

Parish residents are always invited to attend Waldridge Parish Council meetings, with a standing agenda item for residents to ask questions and raise any queries with the Parish Council.
