Julie Lewcock

I have lived in the Parish for over 35 years. I’m now retired, but formally worked in Local Government for 40 years.

I was Ops Manager of the Riverside site and Leisure Centre, with Chester le Street Council, then later spent some time managing the Gala Theatre and as Transformation for Culture and Sport with DCC.

The Riverside site was the first open space to be accredited with the quality standard Green Flag Award. I was also a Green Flag judge for the north of the area.

I have enjoyed my role as Parish Councillor and hope that I can contribute to the ongoing improvements that the Council strive to provide for the local residents.
